I never would have thought that so much could and would go right in the world. For awhile, I was discouraged because I felt like I had so much to offer to the world and no one, and I mean no one, was listening. I was close to giving up, but my marketing class put this new surge of creative energy through me. I wouldn’t say it was the class, but more of a certain person in the class. On our first day, this classmate shared stories about her wonderful internship and how it was now her job to tweet, blog, and facebook (link to her blog: http://www.justbblogging.com/). I was fascinated; I wanted so bad to do that, to be that. So, I started up my computer and tweeted my first pic, blogged a new blog post, and post it all on facebook.
This all led me to today; the day I am Teen Vogue’s Best Dressed Reader of the day. But to me, it marked a greater occasion; it marked the day that my blog and twitter account would be linked to Teenvogue’s website for all the world to see. I don’t think followers of websites, twitters, and blogs realize how satisfying it is to know that someone cares enough to read what you write, share, and think. For that, I am eternally grateful.
Here is the link to check out my article on TeenVogue.com:http://www.teenvogue.com/connect/blogs/snapshot/2010/07/best-dressed-reader-of-the-day-katharine-longo.html . I really appreciate all of my readers out there. Thank you so much for making this one of the happiest time in my life.
