I’ve been feeling pretty uninspired lately. I don’t know if the world, the heat or a combination of everything, but my creative juices have not been flowing. This weekend, I took some much needed R&R time and felt this surge of energy! I always feel the need to go, go, go and it’s important to take time off and to yourself if your need it.
Earlier last week, one of my favorite Arizona bloggers, Erin, shared the cutest daisy manicure. I knew I just had to try it myself so I bought some fake nails and got to work this weekend!
What you’ll need: fake nails (optional but does make it easier to paint), white nail polish, yellow nail polish, top coat and toothpicks.
To get the look:
- Paint 3 of the nails with the white polish, if needed, use two coats. Let dry completely
- On a piece of tin foil, add some of the white color and yellow color. You’ll use the tooth pick to pick up the color.
- Starting with the yellow, place two dots where you want the daisies to be,
- Then, using the white polish pick up a small amount with the toothpick and start creating the petals. Let dry.
- Once nails are dry, add multiple top coats letting layers dry in between.
