Makeup has never been a strong suit of mine. I didn’t even use eyeliner for the first time until college (cue laughter). So, it took me awhile to find a “foundation” that helped even my skin tone but wasn’t cakey or thick. That’s when I discovered IT Cosmetics CC Cream, and I’ve never looked back, until now. I’ve been looking for the best drugstore CC cream, but nothing really stood up to the test until Elf Cosmetics released their new Camo CC Cream. Finally, there is a drugstore dupe that stands up to the test!
Elf Cosmetics is known for their affordable (and I mean really affordable) dupes to high end makeup brands. Their Camo Concealer has even been compared to Tarte’s infamous Shape Tape Concealer. That’s why I was BEYOND ecstatic to hear that they released their own CC cream that was said to rival my tried and true IT Cosmetics version. So, I decided to put it to the test.
What I looked at:
- Color match
- Coverage
- All day wear test
Pros:
- Easy to purchase
- Affordable: $14
- Full coverage
- Held up throughout the day
Cons:
- I don’t really have any cons. There was a little bit of separation in my t-zone but that typically happens so I will use a setting powder.
The Verdict: For the price, this is a GREAT drugstore dupe to the IT Cosmetics CC Cream and is now available at your favorite beauty stores like Target & Ulta.
